Dawn & Dusk is a little slice of the Steppe that picked up some bits of Doma and Kugane before settling here in Ul'dah. Join us at our hearth, relax and rest your wary bones.

Be respectful. Whether interacting with other patrons or staff, harassment, discrimination, and prejudice will not be tolerated. Don't be a malicious ass.
We are an 18+ Venue due to clothing being optional. Please keep more explicit messages to party chat or /tells.
We are an LGBTQ+ owned and run establishment.
The bar charges actual gil and payment is expected upon receipt of your drink or food via trade.
Please avoid being on or behind the bar unless given explicit permission otherwise.
If you'd like to bard... please talk with the staff behind the bar first. We can get the orchestreon muted.
Staff has final say. Ultimately, we may have to ask you to put your minions away if we have a busy day. Or ask you to stop spamming the emote log or /yell chat. Please understand we probably have a pretty good reason for any requests we make.

Dawn - The Azim Steppe
Shorlog (10,000 gil)"Everyone's got their meat on a stick. Shorlog are the Steppe variant, usually some spiced dzo meat, peppers and tomatoes, maybe some onion if you're lucky. Simple, filling, easy to eat on the go. Perfect for a traveling Xaela."
Steppe Salad (10,000)"Around here most folks think lots of leafy greens for their salads, this one's more based on tubers and root vegetables. Carrots and radishes, a little bit of cabbage and a bit of rice vinegar coating everything. Kind of just a case of eating your vegetables though, most Au Ra would rather more meat to their meals."
Warrior's Stew (10,000)^"Comes out of that stew pot behind the counter, it's sort of a variation of the usual Warrior's Stew. Mostly uses dzo meat as the base, but there's a lot more variation in the vegetables. Just sort of a greatest hits of what vegetables I thought worked best during my time as a conscript. Don't ask how long the pot's been going."^
Ema Datshi (10,000)"There's usually a handful of batches of ema datshi going at a time, all based in dzo milk. The differences are the specific peppers used in each one, so you've got some options as to how spicy the entire thing is. Dump a good amount over some rice? So good."
Kumis (5,000) (Mint Lassi)"This stuff is a little bit special. General idea is if you share some kumis under a Xaela's yurt, you can pretty much consider yourself a friend. At least for the time being. It's fermented milk, and beyond that everyone's recipe is a little bit different. Mine uses mint."
Steppe Tea (5,000)^"Everyone's got some kind of tea, this is what you'll see most often on the Steppe. Brewed with fermented tea leaves, and with a healthy amount of dzo milk."^
